He graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's degree in music education emphasized in church music and has taught music schools since he was 16. He also has been involved in and around music most of his life with his grandparents.
His love and passion shows as he engages the congregation or group in learning how to sing.

Marty Phillips
Marty Phillips of Crossett, Arkansas, is a gospel singer, songwriter, as well as editor. Jeffress Music Company was started in 1944 by Nolin and Essye D. Jeffress. The jeffress/phillips music is a continuation of that tradition and was started in 1997 by Marty and Ann Phillips. A composer of many songs, he is most noted for "What A Meeting in The Air." He teaches in various singing schools across the South, including Tri-City Gospel Music Camp. Every year jeffress/phillips Music publishes a new song book.
Bro. Marty has composed a book of basic music theory called "Rudiments of Music," an advanced theory book called, "Understanding 4 Part Harmony," and four volumes for pianists entitled “Not So Hard Hymn Arrangements."

Carol Peters
Carol Peters has been involved in shape-note music for over 30 years. She enjoys spending her summers filled with singing schools where she has made so many wonderful memories.
She began teaching at Tri-City Gospel Music Camp in 2002. She teaches the beginners' class and does wonders with the young minds of children. Before the end of the first week, the children sing notes and direct the songs they have learned.
During the rest of the year she teaches piano lessons, church singing schools, and works as a cosmetologist. She has been married to her husband, Wayne, for 42 years. They have four children and seven grandchildren. Outside of music, Peters other favorite pastime is riding motorcycles. Last year they rode out west to go up the coast through California and Oregon.
God has richly blessed her in letting her do the things she loves and enjoys. She is amazed at the deep friendships that develop through serving the Lord in song. She always wants to be a willing vessel for the Lord and to help others.
Tori Taylor
Tori Taylor was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her passion for music started at the early age of five when she started taking private piano lessons. She continued taking private lessons until she started teaching privately herself at the age of fifteen. She graduated from Louisiana State University with her Bachelor of Music Education.
She started teaching at Tri-City Gospel Music Camp in 2014. She teaches theory as well as private voice and piano.
